The confirmed early weapon entries here are the starting Longsword and the Cestus chest in the Sewer Reservoir's hidden area. The Arcane Whip unlocks after The Fallen and helps you reach the hidden route, but it is a traversal tool rather than another equipped weapon. This is not yet a complete location list for the full game's seven weapon families.

The Longsword and Cestus entries each list 25 ATK at Ordinary quality. That shared figure does not mean their attacks behave identically. Cestus becomes more damaging as you keep hitting enemies, while the Longsword is described as balanced and mobile, with a stronger attack immediately after a backdash.
Reach the Cestus chest after The Fallen
The Cestus route depends on the grapple ability obtained after the opening boss. If you are still before The Fallen, return after that unlock instead of repeatedly trying to make the hidden route with basic jumps.
- Return to the sewer area after obtaining the grapple.
- Look for the hidden route in the Sewer Reservoir.
- Use the available grapple points to cross and climb toward the concealed chest.
- Open the chest to receive Cestus.
- Equip it from the menu to try its moves and uppercut.

The route description establishes the hidden area and grapple prerequisite. It does not supply exact coordinates, a numbered room, or a complete turn-by-turn path from every nearby mirror.
Keep the two kinds of whip separate
The Arcane Whip lets Rose attach to luminous anchors and enemies. It also enables a timed attack with the weapon she has equipped. It should not be counted as an additional ordinary weapon pickup simply because a database groups it alongside weapons.
Whip-type equipped weapons are a separate category. This matters for tasks that explicitly ask you to find different whip-type weapons: the traversal unlock does not prove those inventory requirements are complete.
Full-catalog limits
The game has seven weapon categories, but this entry does not assign unverified names and chest locations to the remaining equipment. A series-wide list featuring weapons from Symphony of the Night, Aria of Sorrow, or the animated adaptation is not a Belmont's Curse location map.
For the early collection route, confirm the two actual equipped weapons in your inventory and the grapple ability separately. That provides a reliable starting checklist without mistaking an incomplete list for every weapon in the game.
